THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY: The National Assembly exercises the Country's legislative power. It is at present composed by 220 Members elected by universal, equal, direct and secret suffrage for a four-year term of office. The National Assembly is presided over by Mr. Roberto Victor de Almeida (MPLA).
